01Who we are
This notice covers LexDino.com and the personal data we handle through it. LexDino (“we”, “us”) is the controller of that data. You can reach us about anything in this notice at privacy@lexdino.com.
The LexDino products — research, case law, court records, legislation and screening — are governed by the agreement with each customer and its data processing agreement. Where we process personal data on a customer’s behalf, the customer is the controller and we are its processor.
02What we collect
What you give us
- When you contact us — your name, work email, company or institution, role, the kind of organisation, the products you are interested in and your message.
- When you write to us — the email address you write from and what you tell us.
What we collect automatically
- Server logs — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time, kept to keep the site secure and working.
- Your cookie choice — one cookie that remembers it. See the cookie policy.
We do not ask for special categories of personal data through this site, and we ask you not to send them.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use what you send through this site for automated decisions that affect you.
04Personal data in the legal record
Judgments, court records and legislation name people. We publish the law as courts and legislatures issue it, for legal research, the administration of justice and the public interest in open justice.
- Where a court, a statute or a protective order withholds a party’s identity, we keep it withheld — anonymity comes before every other rule we have.
- If a decision in our record names you and you believe it should not, write to privacy@lexdino.com with the citation. We will review it against the law that applies and tell you what we decided and why.
05Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who process it for us under written agreements and our instructions — hosting, email and customer-relationship providers — and with authorities where the law requires it. We never share it with them for their own purposes.
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
06International transfers
Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Israel, we transfer it only to countries recognised as adequate, or under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum) with the safeguards they require.
07How long we keep it
- Enquiries — for as long as we are in touch, then up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they become part of a contract.
- Server logs — up to 30 days, longer only when needed to investigate an incident.
- Your cookie choice — 12 months, then we ask again.
08Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, you can ask us to:
- give you access to your personal data and a copy of it;
- correct it, or complete it;
- erase it, or restrict how we use it;
- give it to you, or to another organisation, in a portable format;
- stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interests — and always for direct marketing;
- withdraw a consent you gave, at any time, without affecting what happened before.
Write to privacy@lexdino.com. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work — we would welcome the chance to put it right first.
09Security
We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures suited to the risk: encryption in transit, access limited to the people who need it, and records of that access.
10Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when what we do changes, and show the date of the last change at the top of the contents. Significant changes will be announced on this site.
